The new financial year is just in the corner Few housekeeping Tips:
1. Check your employees pay rates. Recent Annual Wage Review announced a 2.5% increase in wages. The employer needs to apply the new rate from the 2022FY first full pay period.
2. Super increased to 10% from 1st July 2022. Very important it is from 1st July Not from first pay after 1st July.
3. Offer Casual Conversion option for “Regular casual employees”. The employer must make an offer to casual employees to become a permanent employee if: - employee has been employed for at least 12 months - employee has worked a regular pattern of hours for the last 6 months on an ongoing basis, and - employee’s regular hours could continue as a permanent employee without significant changes. - employer needs to make the offer to you in writing before 27 September 2021 or within 21 days after the employee’s 12-month anniversary, whichever is later.
